From EC Bern-Enge to Minigolfclub Berner Falken

Switzerland 03 Jan 2011 at 23:24 | Published by: Manu | Views: 8840 | News search

From EC Bern-Enge to Minigolfclub Berner Falken On 24. September 2010 at a meeting of members of the club the members of the Minigolfsportassociation EC Bern-Enge agreed with the change of their name.

In 1976 the EC Bern-Enge was founded with domicile in Bern. The club has been located in the “Innere Enge”, by a Hotel in the city of Bern and in the “Aemme-Indoor-Minigolf” in Langnau i.E..

With this change of name, the club makes an important step into his sportive future. Gerhard Zuberbühler, president of the technical committee and says: "The hawk describes better the originality of our sport as any other animal does. In Minigolf you need a good view, methods in the hunt after aces and stamina. In our club we were discussing since a period of time about this name change. The first argument is that the name “Eternitgolfclub” is not yet modern. The second reason is, that we are no longer a club who has his lanes and members only in the city of Bern, we also have a lane and members now in Langnau i.E."

He continues "In January 2011 the organizational changeovers will be closed. The hawk is known for his courage, his good eyes, his hunt methods and furthermore he is able to cover a long distance in a short period of time."
