This weekend the first round of the Dutch Landelijke Hoofdklasse was played at the semi-indoor minigolf course of Putten. Quite some changes happened before the season making MGC Oirschot able to make a comeback with 2 teams. With almost all players coming from MGC Geldrop they made sure they directly were one of the seasons favorites.

After the first round Oirschot led the 9-team competition together with locals MGV DUNO from Doorwerth with 92 shots. Zoetermeer followed with a result of 95 on the third place. The following rounds Oirschot stayed in the lead while DUNO and MGC Appelscha closed in with results in the mid- 90s.

The last round would decide who would be the winner of the weekend and after a good round of 88 (lowest of the day) and a total score of 374 the full 9 points came home with the first team of MGC Oirschot. MGV DUNO came in second with 384 shots, third place and 7 points went to MGC Appelscha with 394 shots.

The individual best of this weekend were:

Zeno Folkertsma (Appelscha) - 91
Rene Bos (Oirschot) - 92
Natasja Klarenbeek (Oirschot) - 93
Roel Groenhuijsen (Hole Ridders) - 94
Ruud Slappendel (Zoetermeer) - 94
