WAT 21 and Rot Gold takes firm grip on Austrian BL

The Austrian Bundesliga played its 3rd and 4th playing days when April turned into May. This two playing days was played at the Baggersee Beton course in Innsbruck.
After these two playing days it’s now clear that the two favorites WAT 21 (men) and BGCU Rot Gold (ladies) have taken a firm grip on the title. 2 playing days remains.
In the ladies team category the MSC Linz team won the first day and with an 29,4 average. Second where Gänserndorf and third where Rot Gold. On the second day the Rot Gold came out as a new team and shifted with MSC Linz to win before Gänserndorf. Noteworthy is that best overall the second day was veteran Elisabeth Kammerer who played substitute for Rot Gold with 79 strokes (improving 16 strokes on 3 rounds from the day before).

In the men’s team category the WAT21 and Wien team tied the victory on the first day and with an 28,9 average. The second day the WAT21 team managed to win with an brilliant 27,9 team average before Styer this time. The team Wien team had this time a bit more trouble and was only in fourth place. WAT21 has now what seems to be a given victory with a 13 point margin down to Steyr on second place in the table.
