They're Just Like Us - Minigolf Edition (Part 1)
22 Apr 2017 at 14:37 | Published by: PatPenguin | Views: 14737 | News search
With social media these days sometimes it feels like we know too much about our favorite celebrities. However, we can't complain when it comes to them embracing the game of miniature golf when they have some time away from their chosen profession. They don't often highlight the "serious" side of minigolf but what they do show is how fun the game is for everyone, regardless of your level of fame.
Today we've got two short links looking at how some famous athletes have been connected to the game. The first is a "real" look at some pro golfers enjoying some minigolf on an off day. While there isn't a ton of pictures or video in the links, it's clear that even people who make their living at "big" golf can enjoy a round on the mini-links.
The second link contains very little actual play but it also contains James Cordon being James Cordon when it comes to playing minigolf. On his show recently, NBA Stephen Curry got a chance to play some minigolf with James Cordon. While his stretching routine might be a bit absurd, we probably all know a few people who have some "interesting" routines before they take their first putt in a tournament (or in a fun round for that matter). They seemed to have a great time on the course and we have no doubt that Curry could play a mean game of minigolf if he put his mind to it.
Know of any other celebrities who have hit the mini-links (or played with any)? Drop us a line at patsheridan@minigolfnews.com.
