In memoriam Nico Suselbeek

One of the internationally most well-known minigolf personalities, Nico Suselbeek of Netherlands, passed away on 15 February 2009, as predicted by doctors some months earlier.

Nico dedicated his life to minigolf as a talented player, a minigolf equipment manufacturer, and owner of Migo Sport minigolf shop. Many minigolf players remember the legendary migo 60r ball, and Nico’s ball kiosk at many international major tournaments.

The death of Nico is a big loss for the family, but also a big loss for the minigolf in Holland. The last years he spend a lot of time for the federation and the senior teams on the European championships. I wish Jeanne and the rest of the family all the best.

I met Nico last August in Predazzo. He told me that we would not have met during Südtirol tournaments in October because he had to make some works at his house, so I was not worried when I didn't see him in Lana last October. Surely minigolf loses one piece of his history... Deepest condolences to his family and friends!

Since i dont know who he is i cant say much. What i can say is thats its always sad when someone die. My condolences goes to his family and friends.
