I agree everybody stepping ahead to help is always welcome, no matter where they come from. Of course there are many members at the boards and committees from the big countries, why shouldn't? I don't know about Holland, but the number of active players in Portugal is certainly a hundred times smaller than that in Germany. This is one more point in favor of Anabela, because we too have difficulties finding people for administrative work.

I think many countries have difficulties enough with finding capable members for the organization of their own national federations. Being a member of the WMF / EMF Board or one of the committees is even a step further, and then we are not even talking about the time such activities costs if you want to do things the right way..
By the way, if you take a good look at the nationalities of the persons who are active in the different boards and committees, you will see al lot of names from so called big countries.. A mixture is always good in continental or worldwide organizations I think.

So your comments towards the "big countries" is not really funded looking at statistics about this subject..

grts from another "small country"

Way to go Anabela! It's nice to see that a small country within the "minigolf world" still has people ready to contribute for the expansion of our sport out side of our borders. Should the "big countries" look a little less into their bellys and minigolf would go wider.
