Kellard and Williamson are British champions 2009

Keith Kellard won the first British Champion title of his playing career on 4–5 July 2009, by playing average score 34.43 at the "Seafront Mini Golf" adventure golf course in Hastings. The defending champion Tim Davies was second, with average 35.29, 6 points behind the winner. Peter Emmerson was third with average 35.71, 3 points behind Davies and 5 points ahead of Nick Chitty in 4th place.

Women’s winner Jo Williamson was the fourth best player of the weekend (including all men and women), with average 36.14. Ruth Bullin was second in women, with average 38.29, and Emily Gottfried third with average 44.00.

Yep, depends on whether men and women played against each other or not. If Jo had won the whole tournament, would she have been the British Champion and also Women’s British Champion, and no adult man would have won any British Champion title?

Congrats to Keith, Jo, Rocky (junior champ), Tony (novice champ) and Brad (aces champ). One error in the above report - Peter Emmerson was third with average 35.71, 3 points behind Davies and 3 points ahead of Jo Williamson in 4th place.
