René Šimanský wins in Brezno Eternite course in Brezno is one of the most favourite courses in Slovakia and right here 7. round of Slovak league took place during last weekend. In the first half of the competition only small differences between top clubs could be seen but later during course of the tournament team ADARA Trnava showed again their enormous power and in the end of the day all the others had to acknowledge their victory with comfort margin of 32 strokes (avg 24.46). This first place could be decisive in the run for the overall triumf in the league. Successful was also 1.MTGC Prievidza, which took second place (25,37) in front of third GK Bratislava (25,80) and we can expect big fight for second position in final table between those two clubs.

Among individuals best three players are well known from the upper part of Slovak ranking chart in men‘s category. Winner of the tournament became René Šimanský, Adara Trnava (23,13), second place took best player of year 2008 - Ladislav Trnka, 1.MTGC Prievidza (23,50) and at third place was Jakub Kalník, GK Bratislava (23,63).

Winners of the other categories:
women - Vanda Kupcová, MTGK Brezno (26,63)
juniors - Oliver Kažimír, GK Bankov Košice (25,38)
seniors - Michal Putnoky, Adara Trnava (23,88)

Final 8. round of Slovak minigolf league, which will be at the same time Slovak championship 2008/09, is going to be played in capital city of Bratislava at eternite course on 25.-26. july.
