German nominations for U23

Germany 28 Jan 2010 at 19:24 | Published by: Hans | Views: 9073 | News search

German nominations for U23 The German Head coaches (Michael Neuland and Petra Szablikowski) have announced the players for U23 competition in Monza Italy the 6-7 of March. It will be one team together with two individual players, in total six players.

The team will be:

Gerrit Britz
Anne Hempel
Max Hermann
Dennis Kapke
Sebastian Kube
Philipp Pester

Minigolfnews have recived the following comments about the players from Michael Neuland:

“Three of the players (Max Herrmann, Dennis Kapke and Sebastian Kube) where already playing the U23 last year in Sirnach. Max and Dennis are Players in the German "Bundesliga" (within the teams of Mainz and Arheilgen). The others (Sebastian, Philipp Pester and Gerrit Britz) are members of teams playing in leagues below the Bundesliga.

Anne Hempel was playing a very good YEC last year in Waldshut and changed to the team of Mainz to develop herself in the Bundesliga for this season. Gerrit Britz is also well known as the winner of the YEC last year.

I hope both will have good results in the men and women competition.”

The German team will be coached by Matthias Reiche.
