Yesterday MGC Leeuwarden organised their annual tournament. Luckily it was dry, but unfortunately not so warm. The results of most of the players were rather high. Only one player made good rounds and won with a big difference: Alex Jasper (Dormagen-Brechten) played a good tournament after rounds 21-23-23-22 with a total of 89 strokes.

On the second place came René Bos (Geldrop) with 98 strokes. The winner of the last two years Lolke Folkertsma came third with a score of 102 strokes.

In the ladies category Jikkie Postma (Leeuwarden) was the strongest with a total of 107 strokes just before Paulien Tromp (Wageningen) with 108 strokes.

The victory in de mens senior category was for Sietse van Zandvoort (Doorwerth) with 102 strokes just before his clubmate Wilbert van Helmond with 103 strokes. On the third place Koos Sibrandi (Leeuwarden) with 105 strokes.

In the ladies senior category Thea Staalstra (Leeuwarden) was the strongest with 110 strokes just before her clubmate Petra Tenge with 115 strokes.
