Matt McCaslin wins Putt for Red Cross Second Annual Putt for Red Cross June 5, 2010 gathered 8 players from Wisconsin, North Carolina and Virginia. The event was part of fundraiser for Sheboygan Chapter of American Red Cross and included generous prize money totaling in 2500$ total cash purse, beer to conquer hot weather, Wisconsin famous brats for physically exhausted bellies and great music.

As usual Matt McCaslin (1000$) did not hesitate to take the lead from the first round and maintain it trough out the tournament. This tournament Jeremy Inabinet ($500) was finally earning honorable runner up spot leaving more experienced Dennis Biesma ($250) in 3rd place. John Powell from NC finished 4th earning 100$ and local player Peter Webster ($50) came in 5th winning Astra Miglane Stanwyck who played in tournament despite recovering only second day after surgery on both eyes.

Matt McCaslin also won $300 for most aces in a row (4) and $300 for most aces in one round (6).

Besides minigolf tournament there were other fund raising events included in one big event.

If this is a fundraiser event, but you have only 8 players and they get total 2500 USD prize money (a nice pot by the way), I don´t see the logics how this makes money for Red Cross.
