Historical Bronze for Russia in Sochi

It's always interesting to follow the home nation in a big International Championship. Often they do a better than usual result, but its not that often they make a real breakthrough like the Russian Girls made today in Sochi.

Before the last round they had lost their overnight advantage to the Swiss girls, but on the last round of Beton it wasn't possible to stop them. With a good round of 86 strokes they beat the Swiss girls by 20 strokes and could secure the first ever Championship medal to Russia in Minigolf.

The Historical Team consisted of Siranush Balasanyan, Yana Lazareva, Anna Pogosyan and Angelina Bobrova.

Hats off for Russia. Finland never got a medal in junior girls. (Ahem... has Finland ever in history had a team in junior girls?)
