Rain dominates Dutch Eternit Championships, Jasper & Klarenbeek wins

Last weekend the Dutch Eternit Championships has been played under very difficult circumstances. On Saturday, where the general class played their rounds in Doorwerth and the seniors played in Wageningen the weather was pretty good without any rain. The day after, when the general class was supposed to play in Wageningen and the seniors in Doorwerth, the rain took over.

After the first day Natasja Klarenbeek and Alex Jasper dominated the championships with scores of 110 and 108 shots after 5 rounds. Natasja lead with 11 shots ahead of number 2, Ingrid v/d Laan and 12 ahead of Paulien Visser and Ilona de Kok.

Alex Jasper, playing for Germany's MGC Dormagen-Brechten, took the big lead of 5 shots after a magnificent last round of 18 shots.

Unfortunately no rounds could be played on the second day. Because of this fact the jury declared the results after 5 rounds as final.

All winners were:
