It's that time of year again. The calendar will be flipping over to not only a new year, but a new decade, and with that we want to take a few minutes to look back at our year here at Minigolfnews. 2019 marked the third full year since the return of the site in 2016 as part of the World Minigolf Sport Federation's media plan. While it was a bit of a slower year on the article side, we did cover some major events, continued our mission to cover miniature golf's impact around the world, got to see our editor on major USA television and had a great stable of blogs about the world of minigolf.

Some of the highlights included:

- WAGM 2019 in Sweden

- The World Championships in China

- YEC in Latvia

- Olivia captures her 4th U.S. Open

- We looked some more at minigolf in libraries

- We continued to show how minigolf can be core to education

- The new wheelchair league in Ghana shows the diversity of the sport

- A Germany girls camp pushes diversity as well

- Michael Smith captures his sixth British Open

- Our editor takes a run (and a fall) at minigolf television stardom

We don't know what 2020 will bring to the website but we're working various angles to keep our coverage as great as possible. We know a lot gets covered on social media today but our "Miniature golf in..." set of series is unique and popular on the site and much of what we do looks at archiving events around the world in an easy to return to fashion. If you are interested in helping us in 2020, please reach out to patsheridan@minigolfnews.com. We welcome any level of involvement from information for a simple article, wanting to do a blog about a minigolf experience or wanting to report on a series of events around the world.
