Have the training groups been decided yet? Somewhere I heard half a rumour about the training groups...

Current list of participants to Odense:\r\n\r\nhttp://www.minigolfnews.com/docs/events/Odense_participants.gif\r\n\r\n20 countries, less than the typical 23 or 24 countries. Felt might be less popular, or then economical reasons.\r\n\r\nBelgium planning to skip World Champs for the first time in WMF history? Also Czech and Latvia have been among the more active countries. This list might not be 100% final yet, we will see.\r\n\r\nIn this situation, as training group B can realistically be a strategic advantage for the competition, it would have been more stylish to put the silver medal candidates Germany and Austria in the same training group.

Hi John\r\nI can tell you that its not allowed to bring food to the arena at anytime, but you can buy it there. The reason is that its a privat place, so no food at the arena and in the parking place outside the arena also during the competition days.

I has talked with the people in the Danish union and they have always told me that its not allowed to bring food at anytime. Sunday i got it verifyed from a member and i can tell you that as headchoach i have alot problems with this and have many times talked about this the last year. I know that its cost way more, but still no food food from outside. I have asked about bringing food to the parking place and it was also a no, because its a part off the arena. \r\n\r\nI was tolded that its allowed to bring fruit, water, sportsbar or something like that. If you to eat your own food you have to do it before or after training and at the competition day you have to leave the arena.

Still today I have received official information saying that players can bring their typical snacks and drinks to the playing area. But persons in audience cannot bring their own food or drinks to the building.

John i dont know who you talk to, but the danish organizers have been told from the arena that nobody can bring food and they have told it to me. About the food you can buy, i have been told that i would be made to sportspeople.\r\n\r\nPerhaps some people think its up to them, but its not,its up to the people at arena. I am still telling you that the Danish team is told that not even at the parking place its allowed.\r\n\r\nHaazeman sorry but you also have to buy your beer at the arena.

The best contact person for this food question, and any other such practical questions, is WMF Sport Director.
