Hello!
This weekend we played the final round of Elitserien. For my team this weekend was close to a disaster because we won none of the seven matches. We were close to share a point with Örebro but lost with one stroke. The poor result for us this weekend means that we next year will be playing in division 1 (the second highest league).
It has been a fun experience playing in Elitserien, playing on the same course and with the same conditions as the top players.
My own performance of the last round was good but could have been a a lot better if I just would have continued with a good mental status like the one I had on Saturday. On Saturday I played world class minigolf and averaged 27,5 on 4 rounds on the new concrete course in Jönköping.
On Sunday, I started with a round of 30 which is a decent result but the last two rounds I failed big time. Why? Well, I want to blame the heat but I dan't blame anything on that. No, I failed because I couldn't stay focused after making a four and a five on lane 4. But don't you recognize this? It's really weird that a few errors on one lane can continue to haunt for the entire round. Almost laughing in your face in a way. I just want to forget the last two rounds and go on with the season.
But the season in Elitserien has been good for me. I know that if I play my best I can challenge the best players in Sweden. I like that feeling :)
My season will continue with some individual competitions in Örnsköldsvik and Skellefteå. This weekend I will go to Örnsköldsvik, a place that could be familiar to hockey fans as the hometown of the Sedin twins, Marcus Näslund and Victor Hedman.
