general infos:
the beton course is located in the hotel garden. I’ve mentioned the huge height differences in my previous post, which makes this course physical extreme difficult, especially for coaches. There is a lot of shadow, but you may expect some leaves falling from the trees. The lanes are around 10-12 meters long and they are all very aslope, so you must practice putting and saving shots as well. The surface of the courses is cement, painted to green. It was in good condition, prepared for this tournament. Some lanes have new metal borders, while the others have big white border ducts around. These are generally ok, however they may result sometimes unconstant bounds at small balls. There are two crucial lanes, where you can easily loose several points – the two volcanos. They are around 4 times bigger than the normal at the end of lane eight, horizontal and vertical respectively.
lane1 - analogous lane 1 beton: ball gebi25
The track slopes very strong to the left, especially the on second half. We played ‘straight’ with a strong shot, the ball comes back from the left. When it misses the hole, most of the balls roll out of the circle. Ace percentage ~50%
lane2 - analogous lane 2 beton: 3D 355 GR
Everyone played the right plate through right wall. It is easy to hit the plate, but it falls very random.
Ace percentage ~40%
lane3 – middle volcano: favourite ball
the track slopes slightly to the left. It can be played for one, but it is not easy. When you play for two, you can near to the left nearer corner. It is possible and worth to near always to this corner from anywhere on the lane, as the lanes slopes differently from different places.
lane4 – target window on hilltop: turbo
play from top left, middle through, rotation shot. Only big failure is to play too strong.
Ace percentage ~75%
lane5 – analogous lane 5 beton: Classic 3
play from half left, directly up towards the hill. The ball must bounce on the wall just between the two stones, and slowly roll directly into the hole.
Ace percentage ~50%
lane6 – big jump: ball sunlight 13
play straight, the ball must pass around 30 cm left to the hole, the circle is sloping strongly to the left. Tricky circle, training is needed.
Ace percentage: 10%
lane7 – volcano: favourite ball
this is a one-shot lane, so you have to place the ball back after missed shot. The track doesn’t slope. Difficult lane.
lane8 – analogous lane 4 beton: dead ball
faster balls come out irregularly from the obstacle. After the obstacle the track slopes to the right.
Ace percentage: 30%
lane9 – analogous lane 10 beton: soft dead ball
it is better to play directly into the hole, as the track leads the balls towards the hole very well.
Play from middle to the right side significant after zenith. Slow shot increases chance for ace.
Ace percentage 25%
lane10- analogous lane 15 beton: Nifo2
I played with slower ball quite fast, faster balls can be played as well with slower tempo. The ball comes back from the left.
Ace percentage: 50%
lane11 – arrow: Fun-sports 4
Play from top left to the middle of the curve. The ball must bounce one time in the curve, and once more on the left wall of the arrowhead. The ball may come back from both sides.
Ace percentage: 50%
lane12 – straight lane with two half cylinders: softer turbo
Play from top right to the left, rotation shot. It is only good after 4th bounce. Too fast shots can’t find the hole.
Ace percentage: 70%
lane13- analogous lane 13 beton: ball Fun-sports 4
we played from the middle to the left wall very close to us. The ball must go up on both slopes. Direct or comes back from the left.
lane14 – analogous lane 11 beton: dead ball
normal, however slow shots are two, because the circle slopes strongly to the right.
Ace percentage: 90%
lane15 – analogous lane 14 beton: Nifo 9
there are a lot of possible variations here, but none of them is good. Now I would be for the straight shot. The most of the balls roll out of the circle, when miss the hole. You will need creativity here to find out something good.
Ace percentage: ??%, now around 20
lane 16 – analogous lane 6 beton: Nifo 2
Play straight from the middle. The ball must be played just beside the right side of the hole, with perfect hole tempo to have some chance.
Ace percentage: 10%
lane 17 – two walls: dead ball
The ball must touch both of the obstacles, then go directly into the hole. The second half of the track is sloping to the left. Too slow shots pass the hole on the left side.
Ace percentage: 80%
lane 18 – analogous lane 18 beton: dead ball
Play from middle straight. Actually it is a very easy shot.
Ace percentage: 100%

general infos:
the course is in shadow, safe from rain and wind. The course is in very good condition, the lanes are generally fair and honour accurate play. The walls are very sensitive of speed, and the balls can easily bounce out from holes. So the lanes are tough, but they might be not so difficult, as the results say - I think the best players will play under 22 in average next year. There is one lane, which is extreme difficult and needs a lot of practice, the pipe.
lane 1 –pyramids: Reisinger Bo/Pacman3
-play straight to the 2nd pyramid, comes back from the left
-play the round shot, slopes into the hole
lane2 – middle hill: 3D563
middle straight
lane3 – kidney: Pacman2
-play from the right corner to the inner wall of the obstacle
-straight shot is also possible, but as the lane slopes to the left and the end circle isn’t very high, it is not so constant
key lane!
lane4 – double waves: 3D493
play from the left corner, round shot. As the obstacle has skirts, the ball doesn’t roll up to the wave but bounces directly into the hole from the corner. Percentage 100%
lane5 – flat loop: 3D333kx
play from right corner to right wall, the ball comes back from the right side of the hole. Very constant.
lane6 – bridge: 3D493
play from top right, round shot like at double waves, percentage 100%
lane7 – target window: 3D513
play from a little left, the track slopes slightly to the left. As the obstacle is made from plastic, glass ball isn’t any advantage here. The shot must be accurate in direction and speed as well
key lane!
lane8 – volcano: dead ball
middle straight. Sometimes the ball makes the round and comes back from up, which was counted here as a bad shot. So don’t play too strong to reduce come-back chance.
lane9 – salto: Mg Bamberg Classics
-the ball must pass just at the left side of the hole, as the circle is sloping to the left, the ball falls if it is played with proper tempo
-flip shot is very difficult
lane10 – salzburger V: maier Gun
-play from right corner to the right
lane11 – pipe: pipe ball
-as the two hunches of the obstacle lead the ball towards the edge of pipe, this lane is very difficult. The ball must be played towards the pipe, only the natural bend of the slope corrects the direction a little. That’s why slow tempo increases slightly the chances of getting through.
key lane!
lane12 – labyrinth: soft ball
wall shot is not possible. As there is no hole at the end of the laby, hard balls come back quite easily from the obstacle. The ball is slightly inclined to right.
lane13- sticks: 3D513
middle straight, almost every shots fall directly
lane14 – sloping circle: 3D213/3D884
the lane slopes to the right
-play from left straight, the ball can come back from the left
-play from a little right against the slope, only direct
-right wall is also possible
lane15 – passage: 3D513
play from a little right straight, the lane slopes slightly to the left. The ball must bounce back until the hole, in this case the ball finds the hole. Percentage: 100%
lane 16 – net: 3D194
middle straight, needs a quite strong shot
lane 17 – right angle: 3D513
play from the right corner with 3 bounds, falls 99% direct in
lane 18 – lightning: Reisinger Kempten, Classic2/3D745kr
-play short to the right wall, falls after two more bounces
-play very slowly longer to right wall, falls after one more bounce, only direct
