You only get 3 or max. 4 points, no matter how bad you play. They should be narrow on top level (hey this is World Championships), to make the competition exciting between the very best players.\r\n\r\nSuch lanes are problems, where the ball always returns to start if you miss the gate. They consume a lot of time, as people take 7 points on them. It is not great fun for anyone, not to audience or to the players, to experience many 7 point jackpots.

And they started with pictures from training day 1 and 2, then nothing more.\r\n\r\nJust let us hope the results page is updated properly, first results should be available in about 10-20 minutes...\r\nhttp://www.minigolf2009.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=51&Itemid=58

Look at the federation website http://www.minigolf.dk, the latest updated result is from 3 March 2008 -- more than 17 months ago (!?). Also Portuguese minigolf websites are not really from the most active end of the scale, so it was not very surprising that the Lamego website was quiet. What you usually get during the year, is what you probably get during a big tournament too.\r\n\r\nThe results service has Tommi Lantta from Finland sitting behind the computer, so I give you a Finnish guarantee for the service

You can always trust the finnish sisu. \r\n\r\nI can see that the results starting to drop in, but they need to update the WC-page, otherwise no one will find the URL to the results page.
