Hardenberg renews its Teamgeist for season 2009

BGS Hardenberg-Pötter opens Bundesliga season 2008–2009 with a victory of 21 points ahead of Niendorfer MC in second place and MGC Mainz in third place, at the eternite course of Kiel-Gaarden.

A team that is not winning can be changed: the best player of Hardenberg was Alexander Geist, who stepped into the team from SG Arheilgen.

In women’s competition the three giants Mainz, Göttingen and Neutraubling took the first three places as expected, with small margins between the teams. MGC Mainz took the lead for the new Bundesliga season, 2 points ahead of MGC Göttingen and 5 points ahead of BGC Neutraubling.

The best players of the weekend were Marco Balzer of Niendorfer MC (average 19.00), Alexander Geist of Hardenberg (average 19.50), and Timo Greiffendorf & Harald Erlbruch of Hardenberg (average 19.75).

The best players in women’s competition were Stefanie Kern of MGC Mainz (average 20.50), Corina Reinisch of Neutraubling (average 20.75), and Tanja Pscherer of Neutraubling (average 21.25).
