Hans-Eric Pettersson, 72 years of age, won a national tournament at the beton course of Vaasa, Finland, with average score 28.50 (not far from the best total scores ever played on this course).
Local junior Matias Röj was second with average 29.50, after a tied score and play-off against another junior player Oskari Vihervaara.
Hans-Eric Pettersson has represented Finland in the national team of general class at a higher age than any other player: he was 65 years old as he played at Vaasa 2001 World Championships, where team Finland landed just a few points away from bronze and silver medal. » results of the final competition day » results of Saturday preliminary rounds » photo of Hasse Pettersson, long before Finnish Minigolf Federation was founded
