Luca Dellasega wins "Chianti" trophy at photo-finish on Paolo Porta

The miniaturegolf course in Cavriglia (Tuscany) hosted the 3rd edition of international "Chianti" tournament, with 72 participants from Italy, Austria and Germany.
The program of the tournament showed 6 preliminary rounds for individual and team events, plus a 7th final round for the best 50% of individual categories.
In the men event there has been a really close match between Luca Dellasega (MC Monza) and Paolo Porta (MGC Novi Ligure) .
Luca started the tournament better than Paolo (20 vs 24 in the first round), but Paolo could use the remaining 6th rounds to close the gap (also with a double 19 round). The two player were tied until the 17th lane of the last round, which was missed by Paolo and gave the victory to Luca.
In the end Luca scored a total of 148 strokes (21.14 avg) , Paolo 149 (21,28 avg) .
The "3rd man" in this match has been the home player Marco Faleppi that ended the first day at the top of the leaderboard with 85 strokes in the first 4 rounds. He finished with a 3rd place and a total score of 151 strokes (21,57 avg) .
Big gap with all the other players, at 4th place we find two Follonica players, Roberto Raspanti and Nicola Bellucci with 158 strokes (22,57 avg) .
The ladies category has been dominated by Paola Tecchio (Follonica) which scored a total of 158 strokes (22,57) which is also the 4th best overall score. Big gap on the 2nd place that has been taken by Sara De Nardi (Siusi) with 177 strokes.
A prestigious victory in the senior men category for the "evergreen" Austrian player Karl Lakos (WAT 21 Wien) . Karl, which loves coming to play Italian international tournaments, came for the first time in Cavriglia but immediately showed a good feeling with the course, winning the category with 161 strokes (23,00 avg) , one better than Fabrizio Polese (MSC San Romolo) and four better than Antonio Goiorani (ASDMC Follonica).
Other individual category victories went to:
- Annalisa Aghito (MC Aponense) in the senior ladies with 178 strokes
- Walter Murgia (ASD Valdarno) in the junior category with 224 strokes
The team event has been dominated by ASDMC Follonica 1, formed by 3 silver-medalist players from Italian Youth Team in Sochi 2010 (Lorenzo Bellucci, Nicola Bellucci, Lorenzo Ciompi) and Roberto Raspanti. Total of 550 strokes (22,9 avg) with a margin of 13 strokes on the home team ASD Valdarno 1 (Mario Ciabattini, Gianluca Parco, Marco Faleppi, Davide Vannuccini).
No 18 rounds during this tournament, but 9 19 played by:
