The German Bundesliga played its fourth playing day this weekend. It was played on concrete in Witten.
In the men’s class this was once again another round where it became clear that Hardenberg at the moment don’t have any real challengers in Bundesliga. Their team average over 4 rounds was 27,5 and the victory over Arheilgen in second position was 30 strokes. Once again Alexander Geist was the best player for Hardenberg with 106 strokes. Best of all individually was though Christian Krumm of Bochumer with 104 strokes.
With two rounds to go the title is in practice already won by Hardenberg. They lead the table by 16 points with a potential 20 to in theory loose to Mainz in second position.
Table after 4 rounds:
1 Hardenberg-Pötter 2531 40
2 Mainz 2623 24
3 Bochumer MC 2644 20
4 SG Arheilgen 2640 18
5 Dormagen-Brechten 2682 12
6 Niendorfer MC 2724 06
In the ladies class the Mainz ladies are this year as dominating as Hardenberg in the Men’s. With their fourth victory on the row they are as close to having secured the victory as Hardenberg are.
This time the victory was 9 strokes over their rivals Göttingen. Best in Mainz and also best of all ladies was National Team player Nicole Gundert-Greiffendorf with an excellent 80 on 3 rounds. Her average was good enough to be third also including all men’s.
1 Mainz 1151 32
2 Göttingen 1198 22
3 Olching 1249 16
4 Cuxhaven-Sahlenburg 1267 08
