Zimmermann is nominated as next WMF President

According to the German Federation (DMV) website Dr Gerhard Zimmermann is nominated by 4 of the biggest European Minigolf countries (Germany, Sweden, Austria and Switzerland) to be the next WMF President after Kjell Henriksson who is resigning in Stockholm in August.

Since some years back the nomination procedure for the WMF elections shall be public and this is to our knowledge the first nomination that is public for the five board positions in August. The remaining four will be filled by new names beacause the current names on those positions will not candidate for another term.
