
Hardenberg confirms D-Bundesliga title after day 5 of 6

BGS Hardenberg has already confirmed the victory of German Bundesliga 2010-2011, even though one competition weekend still remains to be played on 25 June 2011. Hardenberg has won all five weekends of the season so far, collecting 5 x 10 = 50 league points. MGC Mainz is second in the league with 28 points, SG Arheilgen is third with 26 points, Bochumer MC 4th with 20 points, MGC Dormagen-Brechten 5th with 18 points, and Niendorfer MC occupies the 6th and last place with 8 league points.
The 5th Bundesliga league day was played on 29 May 2011 at the eternite course of Magdeburg. Hardenberg won the weekend with score 528 (avg 22.00), SG Arheilgen was second with 534 (avg 22.25), and MGC Dormagen Brechten third at 542 (avg 22.58). Walter Erlbruch of Hardenberg caught some attention with his two first rounds, 18 each, at this difficult eternite course. Walter was the best player of the weekend with average 20.50, and now stands second in the full season player statistics, after his teammate Alexander Geist who leads the season statistics.

The best female players of the weekend were Bianca Oberweg (21.75), Alexandra von dem Knesebeck (22.50) and Nicole Piechotta (23.75).
