Katharina Benn of Germany was the best player of all categories at Youth Nations Cup 2011 in Naturns, Italy. A rare
achievement for a female player. Katherine played 6 rounds beton with average score
26.50, and 6 rounds of difficult eternite with average 22.00.
Male junior Fabian Schupfer of Italy was second best of all players, with average
27.00 on beton and 21.83 on eternite.
Tied third best players of the weekend were Germans Philip Lau
(B 26.50, E 22.50)
and Marcel Waleska
(B 27.00, E 22.00).
Victory in the team competition went to Germany 1, which defeated Sweden in the final match
200 - 205.
Austria 1 won the bronze match against Germany 2 with score
206 - 215.
