Itoh and Koshimura are the National Champions of Japan

On the weekend of the 21-22nd of April the Japanese National Championships was plaeyd on two courses. On saturday two rounds was played on the eternit course in Yokohama. And on Sunday two more rounds was played and a 12-hole felt course at the University of Shukutoku. The weather was a bit chilly and on sunday also some rain.
For each day there was a winner over the two rounds but also for the best single round. And also a winner for the two days combined was chosen. The combined gold medalists and National Championbs of Japan for 2012 was in the mens category Fuminori Itoh with 117 strokes and in the ladies category Yuki Koshimura with 125 strokes.

The most exiting was in the best single rounds for men on eternite where 3 players had a single round of 25. The price was decided after a thrilling suddendeath where the winner Yoshio Terui won on lane 6 (pipe) shooting a 3.
