This year’s fight for team glory was not only fought between the 2 usual suspects (Aalborg and Putter Team. This time Gelsted wanted a peace of the pie as well.

Before the third round Putter Team Odense headed the field, with Gelsted and Aalborg close after.

Third round was to be played on the brand new felt course in Odense on the harbor. New to all it was uncertain how the result would be after. It turned out to be a full house of 10 points for Gelsted, 8 for Putter Team and Aalborg got 6 points.

It then left Gelsted and Putter Team on joined first place before the last round in Gladsaxe (Copenhagen).

In the end it all came down to the last direct match where Putter Team Odense won with 3 strokes over Gelsted and secured the gold. The reigning champions Aalborg took bronze. Team gold nr. 11 for Putter Team since 1995 and a ticket to the Europacup in October in the Czech Republic.

New kid on the block in the Elitedivisionen 2014 is Odense Minigolf Club and the second team from Gelsted went the other way after only 1 year in the top division.
