The young generation dominates in Sochi Open

The talented Russian junior Igor Pantelimonov, born in 1996, was the by far best player overall as the 2013 Sochi Open was held last weekend.
Igor, who plays for the home club Sochi, won the 8 lap tournament played on eternit and beton MOS combined with 204 strokes (24,0 in average on eternit and 26,8 on beton).
Second was Yury Gyadukian, another junior from Sochi, 14 strokes behind. Third and best adult men was Austrias Hannes Hahsler another six strokes behind Yury.
In the ladies class another young player, Yulia Korytina born in 1999, won one stroke ahead of Polina Mogilevskaya both from Moscow. Yulia who also won a silver medal in the YEC in Portel earlier this summer is another promising young lady from Russia.
On the third day the final in the Russian Cup was played and there Yulia took another victory. She In the mens class another young player Maxim Zotov (born in 1999) from Nizhniy Novgorod won.
There was also a web live broadcast of the final day for the first time in the Sochi Open history.
