The first Grand Prix tournament of the 2014/2015 was played on Sunday 15th September on miniature golf in Pelhřimov, as the first Grand Prix tournament ever hosted in this small historical city. Grand Prix is the top category of Czech minigolf tournaments, five per year, with both individual categories and teams competitions (3D-sponsored Extraliga).
Despite of the catastrophic weather forecast, heavy rain on the Saturday afternoon, occasional light showers throughout the Sunday and some parts of the Pelhřimov minigolf premises turning into a mud pool, four rounds were eventually finished in the late afternoon, as planned in the tournament invitation.
In the most prestigious category of mixed teams (7 participating teams, 5 players of any gender/age plus one substitute in each team), the defending champion MGC Olomouc entered the new 3D Extraliga season in the best possible way, beating their major rival of SK Tempo Praha by seven shots, with Bystřice pod Hostýnem finishing on rank 3.
In the individual categories, Zdeněk Majkus (78 shots/4 rounds, SK Tempo Praha) was the best male player, with Pavel Gerža and Marek Smejkal (both MGC Olomouc and 79 shots) running up. Jana Nakládalová (MGC 90 Brno, 84 shots) was the best female participant, one shot ahead of Eva Libigerová (SK Tempo Praha) and Alena Doleželová (1. DGC Bystřice pod Hostýnem).
Nine perfect rounds of 18 shots were played in the tournament.

1. MGC Olomouc 411
