
Randy Reeves wins PPA National Invitational Match Play Championship

Congratulations to Randy Reeves for winning the $25,000 PPA National Invitational Match Play Championship the weekend of April 23-24 in Memphis, Tenn. Reeves went undefeated in the double-elimination format, capping off a fantastic day by defeating Nate Nichols 9&7 in the finals. Tony Varnadore finished third, Rick Baird finished fourth, and Matt McCaslin tied for fifth with Lee Messinger.
Kevin Lacey won the $10,000 PPA Hall of Fame Classic Sunday April 24 with an outstanding four-round score of 95, with brothers Danny and Matt McCaslin tied for second at 100. Kevin Rutledge and Bill Kirby tied for fourth at 101. Jim Last easily won the amateur division. Greg Newport won Friday's Proputters.org Classic with a 3-round score of 74. Andy Coradini, Ken Hastings, and Wade Sahmel tied for second at 79. Terry Sanner won the amateur division.
