World Adventure Golf Masters Teeing Off in Czech Republic

Horní Bezděkov, Czech Republic – On June 16 and 17, 2018, the best adventure minigolfers from around the world will descend on Adventure Golf Horní Bezděkov – course “Za Scrubem” to participate in the 2018 World Adventure Golf Masters (WAGM). The WAGM is the largest international tournament to be played on the Minigolf Open Standard (MOS) style course, which most social players from around the world will recognize as being similar to their own local adventure style courses (no fantasy obstacles). This course is the first adventure golf course introduced in the Czech Republic and will celebrate its ten-year anniversary in 2019.
The tournament currently has 95 registered participants from 15 different countries, including many European countries and minigolfers from as far away as Australia, New Zealand, Ghana and the United States. Participants are looking forward to the magnificent log house and homemade food at the course and will be cheered on by a mascot throughout the tournament.
In addition to being crowned the best adventure minigolfer in the world, this year also features a partnership with the Major Series of Putting (MSOP) where the individual with the lowest score in WAGM will get a $1,000 entry into the Turbo Singles Championship at this year’s MSOP Championships in Las Vegas. The World Minigolf Sport Federation (WMF) is the umbrella organization of 63 Minigolf sports associations worldwide with Continental Associations in Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania. Over 1,000 championships courses are approved for official competitions and over 1,500 international minigolf tournaments are held each year. Millions of players all around the world like to play minigolf as a private leisure activity and in public competitions.
