Today marks the official one year Anniversary of the Ghana Minigolf Association and the World first ever National Wheelchair Minigolf league.

The Ghana Wheelchair Minigolf Association (GWMA) is happy and glad for the one year anniversary and want to use the opportunity to call on each and everybody, development partners and donor agencies to come on board to support the GWMA. The GWMA also wants to use the opportunity to extend our good will message to all persons with Disability in advance with regards to this years International Day for Persons with Disability which comes off on 3rd December 2020.

The GWMA also wants to thank the World Minigolf Federation, Africa Minigolf Federation, National Paralympic Committee - Ghana , The Ministry of Youth andSports Ghana, The National Sport's Authority, The National Council on Persons with Disability and other stakeholders for their support and special appreciation goes to Mr Talal Fattal the President of Ghana Minigolf Federation for buying into this vision and for all his financial and logistical support. He has been the sole sponsor of the activities of the GWMA for this whole one year and the GWMA is very grateful to him and his family.

The GWMA as well extends sincere appreciation to the Ghana Olympic Committee President Mr. Nunoo Ben Mensah for his support as well and that of the Ghana Olympic Committee.

Finally, the GWMA wishes to pay tribute to the late Deputy Director General of the National Sports Authority Mr. Saka Acquare for all his support given to the GWMA in making sure the league was successful and also in making sure the GWMA officially registered with the National Sport's Authority, may his gentle soul forever rest in peace and we promise to all time hold high his legacy.
