Oirschot wins also the second match in the Dutch League

The second match of the Dutch league was played on the "eternit" (trespa) course of the Hole Ridders (Ridderkerk). The conditions were much better than during the first match.
The scores were rather good with in the first round the perfect score for Aernout Folkertsma (Appelscha) and some almost perfect scores. The home playing team of the Hole Ridders succeeded to win the first round with 131 strokes just before Oirschot 1 with 134 strokes. On the third place came the second team of Oirschot with 140 strokes. Despite the perfect score of Aermout Folkertsma the team of Appelscha took the fourth place with 146 strokes.
The second round was for the most of the teams a little worse. The home playing team of the Hole Ridders lost this round with 143 strokes and they lost their leading position to Oirschot 1. Oirschot 1 came with 136 strokes at the finish and they take over the leading position. The second team of Oirschot lost their third place after a very bad round with 156 strokes.
During the third round the differences between Oirschot 1 and the Hole Ridders became closer. The Hole Ridders needed now 140 strokes against 143 strokes for Oirschot 1 and the difference was now only one stroke (414 - 413). Both teams saw Appelscha with a very good round of 130 strokes on the third place.
The last round had to decide which team would win this match and defending champion Oirschot 1 succeeded to win the last round with 130 strokes before the Hole Ridders with 139 strokes. By winning this round Oirschot wins also the second match with 543 strokes before the Hole Ridders with 553 strokes. Appelscha became third with 565 strokes after a last round with 144 strokes.
