MGC Bischofshofen and WAT 21 are the only teams that have any mathematical chances
for gold in men’s Austrian Bundesliga 2008, when 4 competition
days have been played of the total 6.
Bischofshofen has won the three first days of the season, and was second on the fourth day.
WAT 21 was second on the three first days, and took first place on the fourth competition day.
In women’s competition the medals will be shared between the three
leading teams Knittelfeld, Bischofshofen and Rot Gold. The league leader
after two competition days on beton, BGCU Rot Gold, was left far behind
Knittelfeld and Bischofshofen on the third and fourth competition day
at the felt course of Alt Erlaa.
The best player of the weekend (and of the entire league season so far)
was Stefan Kellershohn of MGC Bischofshofen, with an average score
28.00.
The best female player of the weekend (and of the entire league season so far)
was Elisabeth Gruber of MGC Bischofshofen, with an average score
31.67.
The last two competition days of Austrian Bundesliga will be played
on 13–14 June at the eternite course of Herzogenburg.
The winner of each day gets 8 points, second gets 6 points,
third 4 points, fourth 2 points, and fifth 0 points.
