Peter Nordin wins top 12 Peter Nordin, Sundsvall BGK, won the A-class in the top 12 competition at the MunktellArenan indoor eternit course this weekend. The competition is played over 2 days as a round robin tournament where all 12 qualified players meet each others. Peter won 8 tied 2 and lost only 1 and got a total of 18 points out of 22.

The big favorite, Lars Brown of Uppsala had the tournament in his hand before the last round. He only needed to win over Patrik Wass of Haga BGK, but lost a tight game by 18-19, leaving Lars in second place with 17 points. Lars Brown had the best average in the competition of 19,6. He made tree rounds of 18, one of them causing Peter Nordins only loss. In third place was Johan Andersson of Djulö BGK who lost to Peter Nordin in the 10th round and then landing on 17 points. Johan Andersson played brilliantly 77 on four rounds 19-18-19-19 on round 3-6 on Saturday. He had 46 aces in a row before missing lane 17 on round 5. After that he continued with another 18 aces.

In the B-class the victory was taken by Krister Magnusson, Haninge BGK on 16 points and an average of 20,9 . In the C-class Stefan Ericsson of Garphyttans BGK won on 17 points and an average of 21,8 .
