Nigeria invites nations to a friendly tournament

Nigeria 23 Feb 2009 at 20:31 | Published by: JJM | Views: 5817 | News search

Nigeria invites nations to a friendly tournament Nigeria may soon become the first African nation ever to enter official competitions of World Minigolfsport Federation. Preparing for World Championships 2009, Nigerian minigolfers are planning to visit Europe in the spring of 2009, to get experience of the different playing systems used in European competitions.

Nigeria, Austria, Great Britain and Turkey are discussing the possibility of maybe playing a friendly tournament in the end of May 2009, for example in Vienna, Austria. Also other countries are welcomed to this event, as the first ever African team would play an official WMF competition in Europe.

For further information about this planned event, you can contact Moses Gilala of Nigeria (see contact details on WMF website / Registrars) or other countries that are discussing this event.

Yes they have at least one standard eternite course.

This competition is only a general proposal at this moment. Anything has not been agreed yet between Nigeria, Austria or other countries.
