The West-Swedish winter team play is played in 4 rounds (two on felt and two on eternit) in different arenas from November to March. It is divided in two divisions where the 8 best teams play in the first division. This year there has been no real challengers to the favorites Kungälv BGK, last years number 5 in the Swedish Elitserien.
The last round was played at the well known and easy felt courses of Alelyckan. In this course it's very hard to beat Örjan Johansson of Tuve Tigers BGK, and no one was even close to doing so this weekend either. Örjan had an average of 26,0 outperforming the next best in the list Carl-Johan Spetz of Kungälv by 12 strokes. As a team Kungälv was never really in danger losing their cup and in the end they won by 6 points ending up at 48 points. In Second position was Tuve Tigers BGK that through specifically good rounds on felt were able to beat the Elitserie Team Gullbergsbro by two points.
Best player in the second division, playing in the Hårdton indoor eternit course, this weekend was Danilo Svensson of Tuve Tigers with an average of 20,8. Danilo has made a promising comeback the last months after a break from golf and a knee injury. Danilo was part of the Swedish junior team winning the WC title in Odense in 2006.
