The winter team played on Olfströms BGK:s eternite course (where the Swedish Cup was played earlier this year) was finished today. Olofström is located in southern Sweden and the participating teams are all from that region. The tournament has been played over several weekends during the winter, with the final day today.
Sjövikens IF from Hässleholm were big favourites and they also won a great victory, by winning all their matches during the day. As if that was not enough, they beat the old course record for 3-man-teams (which was 63) by scoring one round of 60 and one round of 62. Sjöviken were never even close to loosing a match, scoring a overall average of 21,9 on the pretty difficult courses.
Player of the day was, not surprisingly, Jan-Åke Person, Sjövikens IF. He beat his own course record for 3 rounds, by playing 20-20-19=59. » Results
