After years and years of disagreement about the existence of a National Head Coach, the Portuguese Minigolf Federation decided to nominee André Silva as the first head-coach ever.
In the past, coaches were invited for a specific championship and the work was not continuous as it should be. Some, point it out as one of the big reasons for the bad results of Portugal.
Now, the head-coach has as the main task the coordination of all the National Teams and its preparation, beginning with the senior team for Lamego.
André Silva has some international participations both as youth and general class. The most recent one was in Hilzingen with CM Porto.
