MC Effretikon and MC Olten win again It was same procedure as last year when the 2009 Swiss Team Championships where played this weekend in Dietikon on beton. Winner on the ladies side where MC Effretikon and on the men’s side MC Olten.

The exitement was to be in the ladies class. The winning team of Effretikon (including Rebecca Weber, Esther Wicki and Sandra Wicki) did the final move for victory on the fifth out of 6 laps. And 88 on the lap were 15 better than the score of the until then leading MC Neuendorf. On the final lap Effretikon made it a little too existing by playing a bad 102 and when Neuendorf made 94 the final score was only 4 strokes to Effretikon. In third place came MC Grindel Kloten another 18 strokes behind.

In the men’s class the winning team of Olten (including Rebecca Remo Zaugg, Cedric Mathys, Martin Hug, Omar Maggi, Marco Eigenmann and Michel Rhyn) was the best team already from the beginning and won in the end by a margin of 9 strokes. In second place came MC Eichholz Gerlafingen and third were 1 MC Neuendorf.

Best three amongst the ladies where Esther Wicki, Effretikon (30,7), Evelyn Kähr, Kloten (31,5) and Yvonne Klukas, Neuendorf (31,7). Best three men were Samuel Hofer, Eichholz Gerlafingen (28,7), Cedric Mathys, Olten (29,3) and Luca Pelloni, Eichholz Gerlafingen (29,7).
