The top 10 players at Youth Nations Cup 2009 were not a clean row of male juniors, as usual. The best player of the tournament was Anna Nitschke of Germany, who plays in schoolgirls under 15 years. Anna played eternite with average 21.50 and beton with average 28.67.

The second best female player (21st best of all players) was Anne Bollrich of Germany, with average 22.33 on eternite and 31.17 on beton. Third best female player was Frida Elmdahl of Sweden, with average 23.83 on eternite and 31.33 on beton.

The best male players in the competition were German juniors Robin Hettrich (eternite 23.33, beton 27.33), Sebastian Kube (eternite 22.67, beton 28.33) and Franz Höfler (eternite 23.33, beton 28.00).

Team Germany 1 won Sweden in the final match for gold, with points 199215. Austria 2 won the tight bronze match against Germany 3, with points 206208.

To be exact the kids' category is not only for players under 15, participation is allowed for the last time in the year in which the player has his/her 15th birthday, before or after the tournament. I believe Anna for example is already 15.

All the same, it was a fantastic performance from her and always under highest pressure, being involved in semifinal and final as well.
