On Sunday two important competitions were played around Sweden. One was held in Uppsala on felt and could see many of the Uppsala men and women stars on the starting line. C-J Ryner, Lars Brown, Anders Wiklund and Karin Wiklund were all beaten by the winner Anders Olsson using 64 strokes on two rounds. Anders has had a magnificent start of this outdoor season resulting in the placement row of 1, 1, 2, 4, 1 in the five competitions played so far.
On the other side of Sweden another well-known Swedish player Hans Olofsson, who openly claims he aims for a place in the Swedish Odense Team, played an impressive game in his home club tournament in Kungälv on eternit. With an average of 20,3 over 6 rounds he won with a margin of 6 strokes before Johan Hagström, Uddevalla BGK. Hans enjoys playing on this course, where he won the Swedish Championships back in 2001. This summer he will have an opportunity for another victory since the Swedish Championships will be played at this course on felt and eternit in July.
In the ladies class in Kungälv it was an easy victory for Sandra Weaver who won by a margin of 19 strokes over 6 rounds on an 21,5 average.
