
Sergei Kovilyaev hits green colour in Moscow

Sergei Kovilyaev played a historical green average score 24.83 at Moscow Championships 2009, at the eternite course of Moscow Sport University. This is one of the first times (if not indeed the first time) when a Russian player achieves green total score in a national eternite tournament.
Viktor Zhabin was second in the competition, with average 26.67. Sergei Chernitsyn was third with average 28.33, after a tied score and play-off against Yevgeni Slivko.
Best players in women’s competition were Natalia Machehina (average 28.67), Tatiana Selivanova (31.50) and Galina Deniskina (33.83). » results of the competition
