Toivo Vällo third in Latvian Cup, after day 3/6 Toivo Vällo of Estonia reached third place at Valmiera eternite tournament in Latvia, with average score 28.67. Madara Kirša won the tournament with average 26.67, and Girts Ieleja was second with average 27.33.

The tournament in Valmiera was day 3 of Latvian Cup 2009 season, which includes 6 tournament days. Madara Kirša leads the Latvian Cup season with 231.75 ranking points. Girts Ieleja is second with 214.41 ranking points, and Toivo Vällo thirds with 144.54 ranking points.

The dominating Latvian team Líva was left second in the team competition of Valmiera, as Girts Ieleja and Toivo Vällo lead their team OC Limbazi to victory of the competition.
