The most international minigolf team in the world, Tantogårdens BGK (Sweden), offered a memorable season to its international players Markus Berger (Austria), Kosti Salonen (Finland) and Erik Tiekstra (Netherlands). But the main goal of the season, a place at European Cup 2009, escaped from the team today.
Uppsala BGK has confirmed its victory of Swedish Elitserien 2009, which will be completed tomorrow on Sunday 26 July. Also BGK Jönköping has confirmed its second place in the league, which means a right to participate in European Cup 2009. Tantogårdens BGK is third in the league, still fighting with Skoghalls BGK about the 3rd place in the final rankings.
Tantogården’s anchor player Pierre Zetterlund had a bad day on a bad day. Today was the day when he shouldn’t have played twice 27, at a course where the best wizards play a blue average under 20.00. The course was not easy, though: surprisingly many players have got quite high scores in the competition. » live results of the final day of Swedish Elitserien 2009
