Chernitsyn and Machehina win Russian Cup season Sergey Chernitsyn and Natalia Machehina sealed their Russian Cup 2009 season victories, by winning the last league tournament at the adventure golf course of Staroskolski Golf Club in Staryi Oskol on 26-27 September 2009.

Top three in men’s Russian Cup 2009 ranking:
1.   48 ranking points in 4 tournaments   Sergey Chernitsyn
2.   39 ranking points in 3 tournaments   Sergey Kovilyaev
3.   18 ranking points in 2 tournaments   Kirill Teterev

Top three in women’s Russian Cup 2009 ranking:
1.   48 ranking points in 4 tournaments   Natalia Machehina
2.   39 ranking points in 4 tournaments   Tatiana Selivanova
3.   18 ranking points in 4 tournaments   Yekaterina Amineva

Sergey Chernitsyn was best in the last league competition at Staroskolski adventure golf course, with average score 44.00 in 6 rounds. Local player Sergey Shelyakin was second with average 46.50, 15 points behind Chernitsyn, and Sergey Kovilyaev was third with average 47.33.

Top three in women’s competition was 1. Natalia Machehina (average 50.67), 2. Tatiana Selivanova (average 51.17) 4 points behind Machehina, and 3. local player Veronika Travkina (average 53.83) 16 points behind Selivanova.
