Riku & Kosti win 22th Finnish Marathon

Riku Pennanen and Kosti Salonen won the 22nd Finnish Marathon on an team average of 21,26. Over the 26 rounds the pair was in the end quite in a class of their own winning by 27 strokes. In second place came Juuso Puolakkainen and Oskari Vihervaara with a team average of 22,31.
Best individually where Kosti Salonen as so many times before in the Rahola indoor arean. He scorde an average of 21,08. Good scores where also made by Oskari Vihervaara on 21,29, Riku Pennanen on 21,46 and Jussi Heino on 21,77.
No less than 14 rounds of 19 where made by the 42 players, but only one perfect 18. It was made by Jukka Reunavuori on his 6th round.
The results this year where quite much lower than last year when Kosti Salonen won together with Ari Åman on an average of 22,39. Two years ago Riku and Kosti won an average of 21,53. So for Kosti this is his third year in a row as winner.
