How low scores are possible on felt courses, when the players have 4 chances per round to try again the same lane, if they are not satisfied with the score that they got for the lane? For example 22 for one round, and average 23.75 for the whole tournament. That is what Juha Wellenius and Jouni Valkjärvi played in the Teamgolf competition at Veritas Stadium indoor felt course in Turku, Finland.
Second place in the Teamgolf competition (on Sunday 28 March 2010) went to Aki Sillman and Axel Ekman, with average score 25.00. Arto Borg and Jussi Heino were third with average 26.00.
A traditional strokeplay competition was played on Saturday, where Juha Wellenius took victory with average 28.75, Arto Borg was second with average 30.25, and Joni Rintala was third in tied points with Borg.
In Teamgolf on Sunday, Wellenius was able to improve his total score by 5 points per round (from 28.75 to 23.75), as he had the right to play again max. 4 lanes per round with his teammate Jouni Valkjärvi.
