The Hardenberg-Pötter stays in pole-position in the German Bundesliga. The defending champions nationally and internationally is still on top. This weekend they showed on the long felt lanes in Marsberg that they will be a real contender for defending their title also on the long WAT21 felt lanes in October.
By taking the third victory on four Bundesliga weekends the lead has now grown to 11 points. Outstanding single player this weekend was the Swiss national team in Pötter-Dress, Mike Mann (photo), with stunning 81 strokes (28, 27, 26).
Second team this weekend was Arheilgen, sealing their current rank in the table. Third was the surprisingly strong playing team of Niendorf who in the Hamburg area really showed they can play the felt surface.
In the women class it seems that the last years dominating team from Mainz, at least for this season, will have to give up the title to Göttingen. After the unsuccessful attempts in recent years the main contender Göttingen with the two national players Bianca Oberweg and Nicole Piechotta finally seems to take the victory and is leading by 6 points with two rounds to go. Best girl player was the German champion Nicole Warnecke (Cuxhaven) with 90 strokes.
