At the fairly difficult new course at Lolland Minigolf Klub, the Danish national league grew a little in tension as Aalborg Minigolf Klub got 2 points closer to Putter Team Odense in the lead.
Aalborg scored 8 points, Putter Team Odense only 6. The final match this weekend between the two teams never really got exciting as Aalborg played a magnificent round at 88 strokes, which was 12 strokes better than the second best team round at 100 strokes.
Also the team of Odense Minigolf Club scored 6 points and has now settled so far at the 3rd rank. Pretty good start for the new comers in the league.
Rainy weather on Friday meant only little practice on the unknown course, but luckily Saturday and Sunday was much better however still cold.
Best player of the weekend was Mads Nørregaard, who played an outstanding 114, average 22,8. This was 10 strokes better than Christian Maglemose,Gelsted. Many players were about average 25-27, which is not impressive in any way but the conditions given, this was the level.
Next time the league is played in Gelsted on May 29-30. Traditionally the home team is very strong here so let’s see how far Gelsted advances from the current 4th rank.
